Brownwood ISD is accepting online applications for substituting for the 2024-2025 school year.  Please click the "Apply For This Position" button on the right to complete the application.

Qualifications:

Substitutes must have one of the following:

 a. High School Diploma.

 b. Thirty (30) college hours preferred but required.

 c. Documentation on letterhead for one year of successful substitute teaching experience in another district.

 d. Three (3) years successful experience as an instructional assistant.

In addition, AFTER completing the online application, all substitutes must complete a substitute orientation class as well as the required online compliance trainings.

Please complete the whole application before you sign up for the next Substitute Orientation on January 15, 2025 @ 9:00am @ Central Support Center @ 2707 Southside Drive.

Fingerprinting and Vector trainings must be completed and cleared before substituting on any campus.
