Brownwood ISD is accepting online applications for substituting for the 2023-2024 school year.  Please click the "Apply For This Position" button on the right to complete the application.

Qualifications:

Substitutes must have one of the following:

 a. High School Diploma.

 b. Thirty (30) college hours preferred but required.

 c. Documentation on letterhead for one year of successful substitute teaching experience in another district.

 d. Three (3) years successful experience as an instructional assistant.

In addition, AFTER completing the online application, all substitutes must complete a substitute orientation class as well as the required online compliance trainings.
